..yes...checking it and probably renewing on the last day (30th June) as I did last year.....
I have been on a roller coaster about it on the last couple of months, going from "no way I am wasting my time and money like that again..." turning into "oh well, after all it is still a nice day off to London, having lunch and a couple of pints with some funny friends..." after the two decisive away wins...   Not forgetting that my wife is pushing and insisting on it...(last year she even gifted it to me on my June birthday)....she really wants to enjoy HER Saturdays....and several mid-weeks evening...

I'm quite surprised that Les & Hoos are in situ on ST announcement day.
I imagine that those of us that said they will only renew if one or both of them are sacked will weaken and renew anyway.
Me ? I'm off to renew at the box office as always tomorrow.

I vowed that I wouldn't renew if Ferdinad was still in situation so I will leave it till the last day to make my decision. I can't understand how such a useless and unproductive set of backroom staff can be left in place. It says everything that our Young Player of the Year is a an 18 year old striker who can't stay fit and scored no goals. I suppose most of us will weaken and renew for a season of Clogball.

Fair play to whoever buys a season ticket after only seeing one home win in 2023.

Surely renewing or buying a season ticket just comes down to whether you can attend sufficient games or if you can afford it all thing considered. We've had some very good years and some very bad years supporting this club. Are you saying the only reason to buy a season ticket is if you have seen X wins and/or Y goals the previous season.

Not saying that...I found the last 4 months of the season rather depressing. I live away from the UK so unable to attend games and have to watch the games on streams. I had to take a break from all things QPR and wouldn't even check the results because I found it affected me for the rest of the weekend. I found my health improved massively by not having to care what 11 men were doing on a Saturday afternoon. I've only recently started reading news on QPR again.

Yes I know I am a bad supporter for not following QPR, you don't need to tell me that. I heard the football we've been playing under Ainsworth (which was predicted by most people before his appointment) has been pretty dire. Each to their own I guess but I couldn't justify spending £400-£500 to watch that several times a month. People that do are obviously a lot more dedicated....or crazy.

....I calculated that attending 10-11 matches already repay the cost of the season ticket. Last season I went to 20 matches so....it makes sense to me...

PS. I fly from Dublin on every match and stay overnight on any 7:45pm KO mid-week match ....so put me in the category of the "crazy ones"...
and I am not doing it cos we win or if we win... (or I would never come) ..

Would not dream of calling anybody a bad supporter.

The "funny" thing is that I missed that game as I was in Kazakhstan visiting my son...

But of course I'll renew and be there next season as I have been since I was 8 through thick and thin.

This could be our breakthrough year 8)
This time we'll get it right - just believe!

Well, I'll probably be renewing but after the disaster of the campaign I can understand strong feelings.

I'm amazed there have been no changes in the club's structure.
Never give a sucker an even break they used to say. Yes, I'll be renewing by the end of the week but the club or least the current stringpullers seem to think we're an easy touch.

Total respect to all season ticket holders. Your time, huge expense and unwavering support is vastly underappreciated by our club. They need to wake up and deliver better quality on the pitch and in the stands. It's scandalous that they take support for granted.
Keep an open mind, but not so open that your brain falls out.

The thing about football is it's sliced up into seasons. Last year was a disaster, but that doesn't necessarily mean that next season will be too. The previous 3 seasons were OK. Things were steadily improving under Warburton, but it did feel like he had taken us as far as he could. So, I understand why they brought in MB (I don't want to even write his name). The fact that that decision after a decent start went horribly wrong and flipped our season completely means 2022/23 turned into a nightmare. However, we can forget about it now and in August it's a fresh start. Most of the recruitment last season was poor either loans or permanently. Lets see what the summer brings before we go again. Hopefully lessons have been learnt.

I think I'm right in saying there is no financial reward for where you finish in the Championship (unlike in the Premiership) so at the end of the day, we had a similar season and outcome to Norwich and WBA who both would have expected a top 6 finish, but start again with us next season in the Championship.

“Talent money” they used to call it - a real misnomer in our case. Dunno if it's paid in the Championhip.
I would say unless we get some sell-on money for the possible sale of Eze to a bigger club we're in for another season of struggling but hopefully some guts shown by our players.
