Sky..
Two more games on sky - Barnsley and Blackburn. Both away for a change bit murder for our away support who have been so good this season. Barnsley at 8 pm on a Saturday.
When will all this nonsense end ?
The authorities clearly don't give a rat's arse about paying fans.

"Football without fans is nothing". I can't remember which TV company said that.222gers wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 3:59 pmTwo more games on sky - Barnsley and Blackburn. Both away for a change bit murder for our away support who have been so good this season. Barnsley at 8 pm on a Saturday.

It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.

Re: Sky..
Yep, I've only attended six - a 50% rate. The worst since I started supporting the club in the fifties. Still, I watched two on QPR+ thus paying a tenner extra for matches I'd already paid for !
Still, the second half of the season looks better. I'd be amazed though if the Fulham game isn't switched to a Friday night.
It seems the only way to avoid games being plundered by sky (lower case s), is to be relegated or be struggling near the bottom.
The League should negotiate a limit to how many games each club loses to sky. Some hopes of that.

Re: Sky..
..yes....the more a team is doing well, the more they show it....and in my case every time a match's KO is after 5pm I need
to stay overnight in London cos I don't have a flight available to go back home on the same day....thus increasing the cost of "my fun"...

Re: Sky..
There seems to be little thought or concern with regard to the scheduling. Bournemouth went up to Middlesbrough for a lunch time kick off (it's not just us). A rudimentary understanding of geography, knowledge of the history/ rivalries, and common sense would seem to be essential for the role of scheduler of football matches for TV coverage.
Sadly those things don't seem to have made it on to the job spec.

Re: Sky..
The Swansea game is on Sky too on the 25th January, at least it's at home and the kick off time remains the same.
