Brum. Early thoughts anyone ?

Post by 222gers » Tue Mar 26, 2024 10:31 pm

All the usual cliches - “must win game”, “six-pointer” etc. I for one am very doubtful, these are the sort of games we often collapse in. Except this time we just cannot.
Assume Dozell is ineligible to play against us ?
Presumably, Laird & Roberts are “injured”.

Nervous, anxious , a sense of foreboding etc.

We're about as good at "must win" "six-pointers" as we are London derbies!

One thing is for sure, like Bob Hoskins, it's going to be 'The Long Good Friday' for me (11:00 pm kick off)!
Question everything.

We will struggle - we always do in these kind of games :?

1-1 with Frey to equalize late in 2nd half

Keep an open mind, but not so open that your brain falls out.

We've been so topsy turvy the past months that it's anyones guess what is going to happen in all the remaining games. At the moment I'd say we have a 65% chance of staying up. A percentage that will increase/decrease with every game won, lost or drawn.
We can win against Birmingham, should win actually but then again...

I’m too scared to jinx it. Everything crossed.
