Wait, is he 27 years old?! I can't find any details for any Christian Nourry on companies house, except for a 27 year old. It might not be him (especially as he says he's been working in football for 11 years), but if it isn't him then who is he? Does he have the years of business experience to manage the day to day operations of a football club? There's very little info out there on who he is other than his work for Retexo, and his linkedin only has details of his university and his role at Retexo:

https://www.linkedin.com/in/christian-n-22b1461b6/

No mention of previous employment, just that he was in business school in 2020.

And my mate who has worked successfully for many years in football data analytics has never heard of him.

We can of course sell a few…..OK, we wouldn't sign replacements but there's precious few I'd like to see remaining here.

I'm trying not to be ageist, after all Amit was a similar age when he first got involved with the club, but in the back of my mind I can't help thinking have we just been 'Bealed' again? Time will tell. I also have a mate who's heavily involved in football analytics, I will ask him if he knows of young Christian.
Question everything.

Anyone on this message board could have given that interview. It was fresh and exciting when Brentford started it years ago, but it’s basically been standard football fan pub chat for about 5 years or more.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s got the job because he’s very well connected to people with lots of money and we’re gonna be bought out, which is fine. But spare me the dynamic CEO having worked in football for 11 years nonsense (unless somehow I’m wrong about him being 26/27, in which case I apologise!).

But if he is that bloke I find that interview border line BS.

He certainly has the air of a stop gap until there's a buy out. A 26 year old, apparently, with no experience of running any sort of business now in charge of a football club, and he also looks to be defacto DoF. He was one of the consultants reviewing the club and he now ends up running it. Time will tell, but this looks like it may well be a transitional appointment.

Our club is now being run day to day by a 26 year old. Someone who claims he's been working in football for 11 years...?!
Every single word he said in his first interview was standard 'we care about the fans', 'this is a great club', 'we have great staff' spin doctor stuff.
I'm normally one for giving everyone a chance but this feels like pure gambling and desperation by the club.
No signings this window he also said.

We all know where this is going I think.

As the CEO is just an appointment that every makes these days but serves little purpose surely better not to appoint one and just let the grounds man take on the responsibility in his tea break and we can maybe get a couple of players with the money saved

I'm very sad to say I think you are right. This squad was yearning for some extra quality in all area's.
It looks like we've given up.
