A friend of mine works for Belgian Premier League side Union. He does scouting and knows every player in Belgium well.
He says Frey is a good striker. A strong header and comfortable on the ball. He seemingly does have one major disadvantage; he causes tantrums when he has to be a sub.
It's first 11 or nothing with him
I hope he'll prove himself straight away then.

To be fair, he's not exactly competing with high scoring strikers.

Wonder if the novelty of wanting to be in the first XI will rub off on a few of the others.

Looks like he's got a bit of attitude to go with the skill and the finishing. Optimistic... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdGwud9xOFQ

We have been missing a player with attitude like him.

Most of those are tap ins; which it's a skill in itself to get in the right position, but that's relying on our guys to provide decent service.

The fact Schalke signed him a year ago shows he clearly has something about him.

Interesting to see what this means for Lyndon Dykes though…

Maybe we can flog Dykes and Wilcox before the transfer window shuts. Wilcox be off in the summer anyway.

I'm not sure we have her under contract. If we do, it might perk up the half time entertainment.

How long has Frey signed for and how much have we paid for him?

He was out of contract due to a dispute - bit like Cannon. So no fee. Only a day and a half to offload some of our players, not looking likely, although the disappearance of Kakay may mean he's going. If so, I wish him every good fortune. I wish some of our players had his commitment.

Isn't he at AFCON?
