How did Richards look?
He had some nice touches and seemed to have rapport with his team mates, but in the last 3rd looking for a decent ball he looked like a rabbit in the headlights, also looked physically slow. I’m hoping all that can get ironed out with some decent coaching, management and game time. There is a player in there.

Footballers need to play, and start games. Since he joined in July 2022 he has started 2 games and been a sub 18 times (in all competitions). Often those substitute appearances have been very late in the game. This season he played the full game against Norwich in the league cup, and been a sub 3 times - coming on in the 88th, 63rd and 82nd minutes.Hardly time to establish himself.
They have to earn the right to play and start games. He doesn’t look interested enough to even break into a sprint.

Cifuentes is the fourth manager he’s played under in his time at the club. If it’s not happening for him by now, he needs to look at himself.
Maybe the answer is to send him out on loan to get 'match fit', get some confidence back and then be able to kick on.

...i am late with my short comment...not a great match...first half not even a shot on goal (or out) by both teams....
second half better, it looked they were trying, though City had more shots ...all off target...

Then....the ref....he was abysmal.....no red card (as Dozzell got vs Leicester) after that player pushed away Fields ...
....what about the pen to Sinclair....from my point of view he was clearly pulled down to the ground.......

after the match I was in SA road....and we spotted Cifuentes inside ...a woman that was speaking to him came out and my friend Sharon asked her if she knew him and if it was possible meeting him...she said "Of course...he is my cousin.." and she dragged us inside....so I spoke to him...very nice guy (as soon as he knew that I am Italian he began talking no-stop  )...we took pics...and stayed there a good 10 minutes....

That's a nice story Giorgio. He does indeed seem a nice chap and hopefully the players will respond to him. Certainly the effort in the second augurs well.

...before meeting the gaffer...still stationing around SA road, we got into most of the players walking to the car park....they all looked good and stopped for a fast chat...Willock said that he is going back to full form (hopefully)...and Jimmy Dunne asked if we could find for him the same "Irish Rs" fleece that Sharon was wearing .... you know that there is a good number of Irish fans going to the games, with Mr. Declan always there, both home and away, with his Irish Flag... aniclap aniclap I travel with them and actually I feel a little bit like Irish after been living in Ireland for 25 years..

Great picture. We've always had a strong Irish contingent among our support as of course Shepherds Bush was (it seemed) about 50% Irish !
Good on you Giorgio.

I don’t get why some think Dozzell didn’t deserve to get sent off. He absolutely merited a yellow for the initial foul and a yellow for the push, which equals red.

I don’t think that the initial foul by the BC player deserved a yellow, but a yellow for the push on Sam Field was the correct decision.

With all the effort you put into getting to games Giorgio, it’s great to see that you got some quality time with MC.
