There isn't anyone on my team who is really into football, so this was really special.

I've also just realised they gave it to me yesterday - 55 years to the day since I first set foot inside Loftus Road.

We are QPR fans, no one is ever calling us that. Masochists, maybe!

Enjoy your retirement Zenith!
It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

I'm sure you'll do better than me…..I spent the months leading up to my retirement bragging about all the golfing, fishing, cycling and travelling I'd do when I retired.
In actuality I've spent most of the time in the pub !

It's early days ... but so, far I'm off to Germany in April with a couple of friends to watch some football (Vfl Bochum v FC Heidenheim), I'm going to Spain with my grandchildren in May and I'm off to Italy to see my cousin probably June time. A couple of theatre trips booked, including going to see 'Dear England'. Throw in an evening with the pub landlord (Al Murray) in February so, I'm pretty busy. That's before I think about sorting out the garden and laying a new patio.

A couple of weeks before I retired, they advertised my job in the situations vacant coloumns in the Evening Standard. It read something like:

General Dogsbody required. No education necessary but fawning deference and cringeing servility useful.
