Jeez. What's going on? Who'd want to be a manager nowadays?
Eustace, Rowett and now Pearson, all of which were doing a good job.

Not sufficient of a yes man for the owners, he criticised their lack of communication last week which probably brought the inevitable forward.
He's a decent Championship manager who has had to work under severe financial restraints with the best players sold and very little of that money given to him in transfer funds.
I am sure that he will get another Championship job.
Meanwhile we'll probably get some colourless pipsqueak like we had with Lee Johnson for three years because the owners like people who kowtow to them and are less concerned about the results.
I'd like Neil Warnock now but he seems to be going to you, he is an unflappable safe pair of hands.

QPR is my second team - not many Bristol City fans can say that!

But you can't hold onto everyone, we bought Sammy Smozdics as the next big thing, rarely played him, and then sold him to Blackburn where he's now a first team regular.
I think we might be doing the same to Mehmeti who we bought as a star player from Ainsworth's Wycombe and doesn't see much pitch time.
You win some, you lose some.
Some usually in the know people have been saying Ainsworth is coming to us, I think someone is winding them up.

Glad to hear that about Dickie. He had been excellent for us till last season under Warburton. He was a nervous wreck when he left us but his performance at Burnley was one of the performances of the season and helped keep us up. Good that he's found form again. (Not in 2 weeks time, though I hope!)
