Does anyone know for certain why Kelman was picked ahead of Willock yesterday, or why Willock wasn’t being picked to play more generally? I do feel like we deserve an explanation because things could be looking quite different with him in the side?
Having not seen much of Kelman in the flesh, I can now see why he won't have a long term future
at HQ. We have a League 1 squad at best, lack of discipline too. Can it actually be turned round?
Oh and my personal bedbug with Rangers, player recruitment/scouting - terrible the last 5 years
and that involves completely overhauling the backroom staff.
Can somebody at the club please swallow their pride and look at what makes Brentford tick!!!

Blimey Andy keep up. At the fans forum Hoos said that Brentford’s recruitment was so good because they owned the best statistical software, it is the Brentford owners core business. Everything is about player statistics these days and these software packages compile all this information every week, analyse it and finally recommend signings.
I am guessing that with our club, due to budget constraints, there are very few scouts out there actually watching players play. Obviously, I am no expert but there has to be a simpler way of finding talent. Look at the leagues below and start with club captains.
Macauley Bonne is a good recent example. Obviously something happened to bring him to our attention but what I don't understand is why before we put the contract in front of him to sign why don't we check Charlton's social media and message boards to gauge Charlton fan’s reaction to his impending departure. If several fans say that they are willing to drive him to Loftus Road then that should put a huge question mark over his signing.
To repeat the Ollie story again, on a recent trip to our new training ground Ollie expressed his surprise at the number of faces still around who had been at the club for years. Maybe our owners are too nice but in football you need to freshen things up every once and awhile which has not been the case at QPR. We are stale, people too comfortable in the recruitment and training positions. Fresh blood is very much needed.

AS someone who works in statistical analysis, I'll go and bloody help the club if they want
although I agree it shouldn't be the only criteria for recruitment.
The story with Dykes is that Sir Les went up to Scotland twice to see him, surely the blind
could see that he was inadequate in all departments. Whoever recommended Bonne is presumably
still at the club and there lies the knub of the problem, there's an old boys network in the
backroom that needs clearing - Ollie alluded to that. This has to be flagged up to Hoos.
There's something profoundly dysfunctional going on at the club
and we're [us fans] not in the loop at all.
