Rowett is overated and disloyal. WTF is wrong with the board? : Get NW in till the end of the season then make a long term appointment once we're safe. FFS, I thought when LF left we might have a de-escalation off F***wittery not the reverse!!
Interesting ...

Started his managerial career at Burton and was there 2 1/2 years, he got them to a decent position in League 2 and took them on their best run in the League cup. He moved to Birmingham (a club he had played for) and got them close to the top 6. He was sacked by the owners who wanted a bigger name in Gianfranco Zola - a disasterous appointment, and Birmingham nose dived. (Take note Wayne Rooney). He spent 2 1/2 years at Birmingham. He joined Derby County and got them to the play offs. He left after just over a year, in his defence Derby were a basket case at that time. He moved to Stoke where he lasted just under 2 years before being sacked. Stoke have been on the skids for a few seasons now, and others have failed there too. He joined Millwall where he spent 4 years. He definitely got them punching above their weight.

Every club he has managed he has won more games than they lost while he was with them.

None of that suggests being over rated or disloyal.

I'd love to see him given a chance.

Maybe I was a bit harsh, Zen. It was the Derby incident that stuck in my mind. He'd be better than Ainsworth for sure. Not sure he could turn it round quick enough. Warnock is an impact manager and I think we need that more as we're in danger of being dead in the water.

Talking to Rowett apparently…
I don't know why he'd leave Millwall to join our basket case of a club

They parted company a couple of weeks ago.

Robbie Fowler is now free, unbeaten at his Saudi Div 2 team.
Sorry in advance.

Ipswich seems to have chosen well with their manager. Dom ball might be in the premiership next season too. Imagine that.

He left by "mutual consent" - which could mean anything really. More saying it seems odd he'd leave a team doing OK to go to one doing poorly with no money

He did a solid job there for four years, but the fans had turned on him, even though results weren’t that bad overall. Arguably a victim of his own success, relatively speaking.

You can add Nigel Pearson to the list of available options.

Hmmmmm, seems that it's Warnock coming in but like a few others
I'd prefer a Warburton as DOF and Eustace as manager combo
but I think the club are in this position...

Feels like a massive gamble if it happens. A bit like Ainsworth but without the goodwill generated from being a club legend.
