Worth a draw today but obviously we need points. If everyone can stay fit we'll be ok. Otherwise, I'm scared. Some online speculation that Chris Martin could be back. Bring him and Freeman in and things may look a little better. Or may not.

Late on a Saturday night, and as the old folk song goes - the revolution starts when this pub closes.
I've only seen one game but the squad looks up for it.
Only two or three half-arsed players on the books, and no loanees !
My dream for the coming week - flog Willock and get at least one seasoned attacker in.

Yeah they certainly are up for it and trying to put a shift in. Hopefully the heads don't drop and the points will come.222gers wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 9:58 pmLate on a Saturday night, and as the old folk song goes - the revolution starts when this pub closes.

Not really a surprise though. “Taking care of the football” is so last year.deadendjob wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 7:01 pmThe thing that concerns me is the possession stats have been so wildly in our oppositions favour this season.
Soton 74% - Rs 26%
Ipswich 62% - Rs 38%
Naarch 63% - Rs 37%
Watford 71% - Rs 29%
I appreciate percentages aren't everything, but if you rarely have the ball you're less likely to score.

Deserved at least a point

I absolutely agree we deserved at least a point.
To me, the lack of possession is not a significant issue. For the Southampton game the shot/goal statistic is more revealing of the game:
Shots: Southampton 7 QPR 11
Goals: Southampton 2 QPR 1
Conversion Rate: Southampton 28% QPR 9%
With a little luck the score could have even been reversed.
