No Willock…..I'm hoping left out because he's on his way out before the window “slams shut “

That bench is so weak. All the more so when compared with Southampton's.
Are headphones getting bigger, or are idiots getting smaller ?

Willock came off with a tight hamstring last week apparantly and this is the reason for his absence today.
No mention of Richard's.

Good atmosphere. Hopefully we can thrive on that.
Expecting nothing today. Anything more will be a massive bonus.

It's not bad. I'd say we are the slightly better team.
They have three yellow cards, two of which were from hacking players down to stop us on the break.
On the other hand, they obviously have the sort of quality that it could continue like this and we lose 3-1 because of a couple of bits of class.

Begovich and Field at fault for their goal.
The problems started with the ridiculous free kick given away by Field for which he received a yellow card.
As much as I like Field he really needs to stop pulling shirts and picking up these yellows. It's a part of his game he needs help with.

Yellow was for Alcaraz I think. He was fouled by Field, but he gave the ref an earful.Rbee wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 3:10 pmBegovich and Field at fault for their goal.

Good performace again, another defeat...again.
I wasn't expecting anything today but just to ease the nerves we need to start collecting points here and there.
Still, we weren't outplayed or out fought so anything is still possible this season.

We weren't too bad, we just lack that cutting edge. It does go without saying we have still only played 1 home game in the league so far.
The next 2 games are against teams in an around our own position. Will be interesting to see how they go, if we lose both, we'll be in trouble.

Once again, we deserved at least a point from this game. Ref was such a homer it wasn't funny. R's fans made It sound like a home game. The Scummers won't be getting promoted anytime soon.
Question everything.

Good to see Sinclair play the full game. He definately did less closing down today, no chasing lost causes.
Needs to be more offside aware though.

Re: Match Thread: Southampton v Queens Park Rangers FC
The thing that concerns me is the possession stats have been so wildly in our oppositions favour this season.
Soton 74% - Rs 26%
Ipswich 62% - Rs 38%
Naarch 63% - Rs 37%
Watford 71% - Rs 29%
I appreciate percentages aren't everything, but if you rarely have the ball you're less likely to score.
