Good game so far, both teams playing well.

We don’t look like a relegation team which is pleasing

That was a good, solid first half in which we more than matched Ipswich.
Unlucky not to be in front after SA's double poster!

0-1 We really didn't deserve that

Not when you take the first half into account but this second half has seen us struggle more.

Some decent performances today and I feel that if we would have had a prolific striker on the pitch we would have had at least a point. We created enough chances.

Yes but it came at him pretty quick. Overall I think he did pretty well today.

Strange game blighted by injuries and fitness issues that Gareth identified soon after he walked through the door. Andy Sinton said that we looked tired before an hour had been played. Despite the recruitment of Ben Williams and a full pre season injuries and overall fitness are still major issues.

Despite plenty of positives in the game we now have away games at Southampton and 'Boro followed by an International break. Likely we shall go in to the break around the bottom of the table so it has to be full steam ahead after the break.

Sinclair Armstrong it seems has limited game time in him so to me he should be more second half than first half when the opposition are tiring.

That was a 1-1 game. Not a disaster but plenty of fitness and ability issues when I look at Dixon Bonner and Paul Smyth who was very poor this afternoon.
Armstrong did well but I've not seen him complete 90 minutes which is a worry.
Begovic was OK but we see the paucity of investment at Loftus Road with the general lack of quality.
Can someone say what happened to Willock at half time?

I think we were watching two different games

Strange they Paul Smyth is involved in virtually all our highlights and indeed had the ball been pulled back to him would have had a tap in.

I have to say the team looks better than my pre-season nightmares but clearly fitness or more correctly lack of, is a real issue.
It's only August and we are already chalking quite an injury list.
Also, we always seem to be slow out of the blocks at the beginning of the second half.
Two tough aways coming up….we could have done with three points today.
