Reading have gone

That 6 point deduction has done for them.
Saturday 9th November 1968: QPR V Burnley in the First Division - I saw the Hoops for the first time and my obsession began!

The number of clubs falling in to League One from The Championship as a result of points deductions is steadily growing.

Utter stupidity and you have to feel for the fans.

They've been skating on thin ice FFP-wise for a few years so I suppose it's finally come back to bite them in the posterior.
Like all of us, I would have preferred if we'd stayed up under our own steam.

Good. I'm glad they went down.

It would've been an interesting last day had it not been for their points deduction with 5 clubs in the mix including us. But I much prefer the opportunity of turning up on Monday and hoping for a win without the stress of knowing we could go down the pan. Safety is sweet. Well done to NW for saving another sorry arsed club from the drop.

The final table might say that we effectively did so.
Question everything.

Indeed. They've been breaking the spending rules for years, and even knowing the six point deduction was hanging over their heads, have apparently continued to do so. It's perfectly correct that the club are punished for that. Tough on the fans, but the owners and the people running the show are to blame.

I have no sympathy for them whatsoever! I think QPR would be much better off today if we had been given a 6 points deduction when we didn't comply with FFP instead of the massive fine and transfer embargo levied on us. Reading have the opportunity of a quick fix return whereas our fine has had a toll for many years

Hopefully, they've gone right down the pan.

I’m sad they’ve gone, my hometown club and an easy away game to get to, plus we seem to have had the wood over them in recent years. Hopefully they can bounce back and we can continue the battle of the hoops v the horizontal stripes.

Over the years our wonderful friends at Sky showed both home and away fixtures against them virtually every season.
