Preeiction vs Watford
A comfortable 2-1 victory. Dykes with 2 off the bench. Watford score just before half time.
Keep an open mind, but not so open that your brain falls out.

I'm not going to even try and predict this, but I do admire your optimism.BiscuitRanger wrote: βSat Mar 11, 2023 6:08 amA comfortable 2-1 victory. Dykes with 2 off the bench. Watford score just before half time.

Re: Preeiction vs Watford
The most difficult prediction is who is going to play.
I feel the two most important, if they can be bothered, are Laird and Paal. If we can tighten up at the back there's always hope of nicking a goal.

After 4 minutes of play I'm going for a 1-1 draw and Lineker to host MOTD next week!

Re: Preeiction vs Watford
You got the score prediction wrong. However, I think you might be closer with regard to GL and MOTD. The BBC's football coverage is in disarray, and GL is getting a lot of support, so if anyone backs down ... I think it will be Auntie.

The ludicrous situation where people are trying to make out that presenting a football show takes great skill. Terry Mancini did it with a wig on in the 70's and was still better than Lineker. Any old pro can do it FFS (within reason). These people are so far up themselves it beggars belief.

Double agreed, lol. Don't care about Lineker or any politics these days, they all spout utter rubbish. Some Labour MP last week on Radio 5 saying the boat people could fill the current vacancies in the care system. All these young males arriving here are coming to clean, wash and dress our elderly??
Sunak saying during PMQT that they are going to build more hospitals and recruit more Doctors. Recruit more Doctors from where, do we have a bunch of unemployed Doctors kicking around somewhere?
Can't listen to any talk radio now, happy to let them get on with it so long as I don't have to listen. Little difference whoever is in power.

Rod Liddle ( not a favourite on here), calls Lineker βan overpaid crisp sellerβ in the Times this morning.Montag wrote: βSat Mar 11, 2023 10:52 pmThe ludicrous situation where people are trying to make out that presenting a football show takes great skill. Dunno about that but I find this brouhaha with Lineker and the BBC annoying.
Of more concern to me is the dumbing down of the BBC. Most of the BBC's output would struggle to get on children's TV as it used to be.

Looks like Lineker is coming back. What the Beeb should do in that case is dismiss Shearer and Wright for breach of contract and any other gobscheiser who refused to "work". These brats don't know how privileged they are. Sitting on their arses spouting off crap. There's plenty of ex-players out there chomping at the bit for such a opportunity to join the BBC gravytrain.
