Honestly - this is pretty embarrassing. Several of the team were making a mockery of it. This feels more like press than team building.

It does. By all means do this stuff behind closed doors, but don't put it out there for the world to see.

If GA can get this current crop to show just half the commitment that his Wycombe side did then I’ll be a happy man.

I did find it a bit odd, but when it comes to team bonding, I don’t think there’s a better man out there. He knows what he’s doing.

Let’s see how we do tomorrow…

It's nice to see our manager so fired up.

I don't think GA is going to give anyone an inch of space to be slack. He will be right on them.

I agree that it would have been better kept behind closed doors.

It wasn't great to see the guy who opened the door for him laughing but most of the players didn't see it. You will get a wide variety of reactions to that and Gareth will learn something different about the players in the squad. Kenneth Paal will still be bemused today!

Dieng and Willock seemed to treat it as a joke but others seemed to buy in to it.

I am not convinced you can bring the 'inner leader' out of people but if they become a little more vocal and forthright then it can only be a positive thing. As SM rightly said ''If GA can get this current crop to show just half the commitment that his Wycombe side did.''

The team that Gareth played in was packed full of leaders and captains, the polar opposite of todays poorly assembled squad.

Especially when the lad looks half-cast anyway, has a washed down Kiwi accent and has spent 7+ years in the UK doing it. It's just a gimmick.

He looks fuxcking what? Firstly who pribbling idle-headed giglet still thinks that’s an acceptable term and who the pribbling idle-headed giglet judges someone’s credentials or cultural sensibilities based on their skin.

The whole video is flipping embarrassing. The intro feels like something from the office or any other mockumentary with some added cultural appreciation. The players look aghast. For all the talk of Critchley not being able to get the players going I couldn’t think of anything less inspiring that GA’s talk at the start. Then the quote about “an authentic Māori” and “learning about one of the best cultures” like he has a league table.

The media team seem utterly devoid of both self awareness and any insight into the mood of the fans at the moment.

We deserve to get the absolute piss ripped out of us for this.

Harsh.

What is your feeling when The All Blacks do the Haka?

Think there's a cultural difference here. Half-Caste is commonly used here and isn't offensive.

Several ABs are Maori, it's pride thing for Kiwi's, not a way of making money.

Half caste (or half-cast as you choose to say) is and has been an offensive term for some years.

At least have the grace and decency to apologise.

Yes I get that but I was wondering if Satch was ok with it in context?

I did that same thing with that guy on a managment training day. It was super odd to start with but the end result was doing the freakin Haka, everyone bought in, had a great time and bonded. Job done. It, of course, looks weird from the outside and I can tell you it’s a great experience and he’s a talented fella.
