Hey Bob, been in this situation myself and my friends haven't thanked me for letting them use my ticket
What we did was to load the QR code in the app on one's phone, take a screenshot, and share that screenshot via WhatsApp/email - which can then be used to scan in at the gates, assuming of course your friend can get it on their phone?
(Haven't had a problem with this so far, as the code itself doesn't seem to be dynamic in any way)
If they don't have a smartphone, you can
probably print that screenshot and use it - as QPR being QPR, nobody there really pays that much attention.
To be on the safe(st) side, you can always email the box office (
BoxO@qpr.co.uk) who I find to be wonderfully helpful on every occasion, especially Gavin if he's still there.
