The guy on Twitter was joking but Millwalls offer was not 3m with immediate payment. Payments were staged and included add ons.
A Burnley offer of 3m with immediate payment would be more likely to be accepted.
Dykes has 18 months left on his contract.

We should bid £1m for Messi with £50m more IF we get to the Champions league.SuperHoopsa wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 8:19 pmYou mean IF and that's a big IF, right..?

Jordan Hugill has signed a three and a half year contract with Rotherham. I wouldn't have wanted him back at QPR, but I am surprised he's gone to a team that has spent the last six years bouncing between the Championship and League One. He should be a good signing for them if he's getting regular game time.
In other news, Nico Hamalainen is apparently likely to go out on loan. Surprisingly, he doesn't appear to have impressed the new manager. Plus ca change......

Conor Masterson has gone out on loan to Gillingham for the rest of the season. He's out of contract in the summer, so I imagine we've seen the last of him in a QPR shirt.

I thought Hugill was a good player for a lot of his time with us and when I first saw Masterson, I thought he looked an excellent prospect. Far better than Grant Hall (who we got money for, didn't we?). Hamalainen and Kakay: Why are they footballers and why are they still here? We are struggling to unearth useful players. We really are.

I feel that he has done ok for the limited starts he has had. Shame that he never got more game time.

Wait, with all the
notes we have in the CB position, who do we have as a back up ?

I thought he looked promising initially, but he clearly hasn't been deemed good enough by successive managers, and he doesn't seem to have particularly impressed on his loan spells either. He's been here for four seasons, so if hasn't broken into the team by now, it seems unlikely he ever will.
