Channel 4's Football Dreams: The Academy

Post by Andy_N19 » Thu Aug 25, 2022 9:09 pm

Really interesting that Eze was rejected on a regular basis at various youth academies.
Incredible really as he was a complete joy for us at Rangers on and off the pitch.

I'd love to know more about the scouting and recruitment at Rangers, Palace seem
very progressive and I do have some questions about our recruitment, lots of
discussion on LFW about the perceived stunting of Sinclair Armstrong's progress.

I have long wondered about our scouting set up! Nothing like Brentford's that is for sure.

As for Sinclair Armstrong I am happy with the way Mick is slowly introducing him to first team football, he did make some obvious errors against Rotherham. No need to burn him out yet. I still don't really understand why Bonne isn't on the bench.

He had a good pre-season, and I don’t think he took too kindly to being left out the squad the other night.

I agree with you, I would sooner have him starting up front - but think he’ll be gone within the next week.
