Aston Villa youngsters

Post by ZENITH R » Wed Jul 27, 2022 10:37 am

When Michael Beale was appointed, there was talk of some of the promising youngsters at Aston Villa coming on loan.

Is this going to happen? Or are we done in the transfer window for now?

The window's open for another month. Beale's gone on record to say we're looking at two more. Striker and RB.

The 4 players we were linked with were: Cameron Archer (20yo Striker), Jaden Philogne-Bidace (19yo Winger), Tim Iroegbunam (18yo Mid), Kaine Kesler Hayden (19yo RWB) and Keinan Davis (24yo Striker)

Likely deals like this will go down to the wire.

Forget where I read/heard it (maybe the ever-excellent LFW) but essentially you have your 'available now' loans like Roberts/Richards, then the next level up where you need to pay a big loan fee or play a game of chicken until the deadline when you can get them for a better deal (or the likes of Bournemouth spunk money up the wall spoiling it for the rest of us).

The Villa lads fall into the latter category.

They are coming for sure.
