Disappointing, at 20 I'd have thought he was ready for at least a role from
our bench.

Some talk about getting in full backs which is right but our goalscoring capabilities
don't excite me I have to say.

This kid really hasn't been given a chance. What happened to all this bollox about youth, LF?

I think Beale has seen enough to be confident he is not ready currently. Hopefully he will come good but I was hoping his loans would be progressively getting closer to championship level. I hope he has a good season at Orient and is pushing for a squad place next season.

I think Charlie has fallen behind Armstrong in the pecking order, so with Beale's preferred 4-3-2-1, he wouldn't even be on the bench

Hopefully he can continue with Orient as he ended with Gillingham

This is his last contracted season with us isn't it?

I suspect this loan move is for him more than us. He was in League One last season and has now dropped to League Two. Probably moved there to look good in the hope of getting a contract somewhere else in future.

Maybe we'll recall him when the new manager comes after Christmas. sofahide
