Chelsea still trying to replace Hazard?

Stirling didn't play so much at the back end of last season so maybe he fell out with Pepe.

Not sure what you’re suggesting about Sterling?

I'm suggesting he has similar qualities to the club he's joined.

He cost QPR 10s of £millions and bottled taking a penalty which probably cost England their first trophy in nearly 60 years. Enough for Ya?

We ended up getting £10M+ for a player for whom we never paid a penny, so how you've decided he cost us tens of millions escapes me. Do you think anyone was going to pay £50M for a 15 year old in 2010 ?

Not sure how you know he "bottled" taking a penalty either. Always good to have a scapegoat though.

I think he’s had his peak, he’s been superseded by others at Citeh and Chelsey are desperate enough to take a punt on a player at the wrong end of his career. Still a decent prem player but making the difference in the Champions League, I doubt it.

Horse shit
He’s a rubbish penalty taker no point in sticking him up there especially in the full knowledge the tabloid readers are just itching for him to fail. I’m not sure that equates with with the negatives we associate Chelsea with.

He’s been treated utterly abysmally by the press in this county and the readers have lapped it up.

He's 27. I don't think they'd be signing him if they didn't think he could make a difference in the CL. Although part of me is obviously hoping that it's an "Agent Sterling" undercover mission.

I had to resort to Google to find out what his 'crimes' were..

The allegations made against Sterling proved to be unfounded. The AK47 tattoo may be in poor taste, but so what . He's also on record as saying it's related to the death of his father, iand not glorifying thug life.

He's still a top class footballer and deserves to be in the England squad, so should be competitive in the CL.

He also gives back to the community

Perfect, no
Chelski bad.... not even close.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. That's what this board is for. Liverpool got most of the money QPR should've got. He crapped on Rangers but you love him. I don't. He's not alone. Let that be an end to it.

But he was never going to be signed for that sort of money whilst he was at best only proven at Championship level. He’d have probably gone for 10m which is what we got, maybe we’d have got that and a sell on but we wouldn’t have got 50m for him.

I don’t see him as shitting on us either, he was a kid offered a life changing amount of money and the chance to continue his development at a top club, it would have been lunacy to turn that down. If he’d ruined his knee in the under 18s do you think the club would have been loyal or would us fans have put our hands in our pockets?

It was a shame we never got to see him in a first team game but I don’t blame a young lad from Wembley for putting himself and his family ahead of QPR. It’s the same point I made about Beale, it’s up to us as fans to love the club, for the majority of others involved it’s their careers and all we should expect is professionalism not blind, self-detrimental loyalty.

That would be perfect miss a few critical sitters and get bombed out on loan to a newly promoted team from the same side of London just in time to find his form again.
