The recent managers vacancy showed us once again how much BS comes out of the press and especially social media! Sol Campbell, Gareth Ainsworth etc etc so expect similar over the next few months before the transfer window closes.

The club are still negotiating with Albert Adomah and Yoann Barbet. Barbet is also linked with a return to his first club Bordeaux. Michael Beale will have an input here as he no doubt ploughs his way through the videos of last seasons games.

Macauley Bonne (Remember him?) is tempting Sheffield Wednesday, allegedly, with a one million pound bid.

Do we know he was only offered a one year contract ?

I get we have to stay within the Profit & Sustainability regulations, have a firm wage structure, but Barbet is a valuable senior pro, Captain or Vice Captain, so you offer these guys more.

Like I say maybe he wanted too much, we shall likely never know.
