Bonne off to Charlton…
Some talk on Twitterland we are talking to a free agent striker (and looking at a free agent keeper as well) so it's not a priority to be done by 11pm tonight....

The midfield has been strengthened, a LB looks the most priority to me....

Are we getting a fee? Can't see anything about if it's a loan or transfer.
Charlton have really mugged us off this season....

How much did we pay them?

Suspect the add ons may have played a part in loaning him back out to them till his contract expires....

Bonne deal collapsed.
Sandgaard: “We thought we were there and the player had passed his medical at our training ground on Thursday evening, but unfortunately there were complications beyond our control late in the day, which went down to the last minute, and we haven’t been able to sign the player."

I wonder if we pulled the plug on the Bonne deal because we were hoping to get another striker in?
There've been murmurs about us getting a Free Agent striker.

So we loaned out a young midfielder (Duke-Mckenna), got a even younger midfielder on loan (Iroegbunam) and couldn't get rid of a striker (Bonne). Weird deadline day.

It does feel rather disappointing. The manager clearly wanted more, but it didn’t happen.

Looking at social media Bonne hasn't made any friends with his attitude to the deal's collapse last night (a picture was posted then deleted)...

Doubt we'll know what really happened for some time but it remind's me of Andy Johnson's late transfer debacle 8 or 9 years ago when it was all done and dusted and we pulled the plug last minute because we couldn't get his replacement in place....

He was injured shortly after and didn't play for us again if memory serves me right

This was the striker we should have signed...

Well within our FFP budget and a bargain at £250 a goal....

I believe there was an agreement between player and club that he would be allowed to leave in this window, subject to us being able to bring a replacement in.

It sounds like there was an outside chance of bringing Archer in, which didn't happen alongside whoever else we were having a look at... So the Bonne deal collapsed.

As a player, I personally don't mind Bonne, but his attitude stinks, and I think Beale will wish he was out the building now. How much did we spend on him? Was it £2m? Another expense mistake for a player we'll get nothing for as he runs his contract down...

Jon Stark. Who does he think he is with those strides on? Dr Who or Noddy Holder? Get him in!!
