Dear all

I am sorry to let you know that for personal, medical, and other reasons this message board will stop operating at some point in the next couple of months. I'm not sure exactly when, but it is possible it may just disappear overnight. Please cancel any contributions that are monthly immediately, and please make no more individual contributions.

I'd like to express my extreme thanks to all who have been contributors and supporters over the years. I sincerely hope you all find a newer, better place to join and participate. Many have said that there are much better ways to share our love of the R's than this style of message board now. Perhaps someone could start a thread of alternate online QPR supporter places, and many of us could then join the most favoured one.

Drew, I'm so sorry to hear this. The dotorg has been part of my QPR life since the mid 90s and it's very sad to see it go. Thank you for all you've done and I hope you are able to overcome the difficulties you mention.

Whatever your reasons, I"d like to say a HUGE THANK YOU for the service you have given this site over the years. This site has been a never-ending source of valuable information, views, humour, discussion and debate all the time I have been here and you have set it up and kept it thriving through the highs and lows during a long tenure.

You have brought R"s together around the world and freely given us so many QPR and non-QPR related talking points to chew over and bond us together.

I wish you all the best for the future.

Gutted, not sure I have the heart to join another board.

Bizarrely 15 years to the day since I signed up, seems like yesterday.

Thank you so much for all you have done, this board has massively enhanced my QPR experience.

This board has been an important part of my life since leaving Blighty for West Oz back in 2007 and I'm pretty sure I won't find a better or more cultured message board than the dot.org.

Hey Drew,

I haven't been round these parts for a couple of years but heard this news today and just wanted to thank you for the effort over all this time. This site has kept us all informed and in touch with the QPR community for a couple of decades. And it's been great fun along the way too.

Wow, what a sad day.

Like quite a few others, this board has been a constant in my life for over over two decades, and is the only place where I actually post anything on social media. I know there are other QPR boards, but this was always the best in my eyes.
