We cannot keep dropping points to bogbrush sides like this. aniwall

As the after match commented, thought the players saw that second half through really well. It was bad luck with that deflection.

Thought Johansen played a game and a half in that more advanced role - plaudits rightly to Albert for his efforts - that cameo for the cross with the goal was beautiful to watch.

A shift from Dykes too - tough night for Barbet.

Whereas the ref might have been forgiving on the penalty incidents, I am struggling to work out how he booked Dozzell and Johansen but not Lolley for what looked close to a scissors tackle on Dozzell and Colback's hack at Dickie who was running through their midfield?

Bit handy too those Foreat boys ... Al.ost mistook them for a group of Gentleman's Outfitters, the amount of shirt they tried to keep hols of during the game.

Colback should have been booked for standing their grinning like an inane idiot after that challenge on Dickie.

That's happening way too often, conceding in the last 10 minutes of games. 😑
To be fair, we didn't have the fresh legs to bring on. Two subs in the first half is hard work.

I thought they played too deep and allowed Forest shooting chances.

The Breadman keeps saying about us looking after the ball and he was quite right when you consider that Dykes took a ridiculous pot shot in the 91st or whatever trying to catch their keeper off his line. He would have been far better to bring the ball down and retain possession rather than handing the ball straight back for Forest to mount a fresh attack.

I appreciate that Dykes had a good game overall but that rush of blood to his head was ridiculous and cost us 2 points tonight.

In the cold light of day, I'm feeling a little more positive about last night. Of course, the injury time equaliser was a sickener but there was plenty to like too. Dieng continues to look like he's come through his nervy patch and Dickie is emerging from his as well. As others have said, Dozzell played his best game for us putting in the required physicality. A good second half from Johansen, who's been out of sorts for a while, and Adomah showed he can sustain another 90 minutes playing really well.

We didn't quite 'bounce back' from this month's run of bad results but we've got two winnable away games coming to get back on track before the next international break.
