11 weeks between Saturday 3pm kick-offs at home. And they've messed up a weekend in Sheffield too.

I'd bring back hanging for this kind of TV scheduling. Won't somebody think of the children ?
Are headphones getting bigger, or are idiots getting smaller ?

I was planning on going to the Sheffield United game also but not now.

Football has died and we've done little but hold its hand.

...don't tell me...I hate SKY...every time they move a fixture to a mid week 7:45pm ko to me it means adding a night out in London as there are no flights to go back home that late. :( :( :(

I would recommend all those who have a sky subscription to cancel it.
Yes, it's a futile gesture, a drop in the bucket, but you'll feel cleansed.

The 3pm kick off arose from the Factory Act in 1850 which said the working week should be no longer than 60 hours, with Saturday work finishing at 2pm. Games kicked off at 3.15pm to allow workers time to get to the grounds and this changed to 3pm sometime in the 60s I think.

I find it ironic that a restriction to allow people meaningful leisure time has now been nullified by rampant capitalism itself.

Yep. Absolutely ridiculous.

Even our away games are being moved to accommodate (Blackpool & Sheffield United).

As the only team to score in every game they have played this season, plus a style that is easy on the eye (even if not always effective) we were always going to be hot favourites for Sky.
