Dykes and penalties

Post by IJM » Mon Oct 11, 2021 9:56 am

I have noticed that every penalty Lyndon takes for both QPR and Scotland are all simply hammered straight down the middle.
I read last night that Steve Clarke has removed him from being the nominated penalty taker and surely it won't take long for Championship keepers to be aware that Lyndon never seems to vary his style.
Hopefully someone on the training field will have a word.

You would like to think that he is bright enough to suss this out for himself, without someone having to tell him.

I dunno, the perception I have is that most keepers throw themselves either to the left or right hoping to guess correctly. Staying put is of course a third option.
He'll be OK. I like the way that he puts some oomph behind it.
