Hard to see the logic here.

Barbet really isn’t a wing back and a 4-4-2 with him at left back would have seemed to make more sense.

Also feel Gray will be far more effective off another striker than on his own.

Still, in Warbs we trust ...

I doubt 5-4-1 will be the formation. With Wallace and McCallum injured, Barbet may have to do a job on the left side of defence tonight.I would also guess Willock and Chair will play off Gray and rotate. But what do I know ?
Are headphones getting bigger, or are idiots getting smaller ?

Woo hooo

And Warbs gets it right.

Anyway there who can say what the formation is?

Presumably 5 - 2 - 2 - 1?

We're riding our luck a bit, but so far Warburton has got it spot on. Dieng has been superb in terms of shot stopping but I can see why we play out from the back now - his distribution when he boots it forward is wayward to say the least!

After being on the receiving end of the Bristol game, I'll take a smash and grab all day if we somehow manage to hold on!

Odubajo has been excellent so far. Great signing.

Really wish we'd stop hoofing it long and turning over possession

It seems that all our luck this month has been put in the penalty shoot out!

That was coming unfortunately. We deserved that.

This was always going to be a tough run of games mind. No need to panic yet.

Scoring so early in a game never seems to bode well.

The bones of a team are here, maybe next year. Our back five simply aren’t good enough atm. Too many individual errors. That said, rather be making them this time if the season. Who knows.
