Does that mean he wont be available for us in the play offs?

As the last 18 months has shown us, fact is stranger than fiction, I think we're on the up
and Palace especially after Roy Hodgson's departure are on the wane.
We may at some point take their place in the Premiership... then we re-sign him :P

A real shame for him that he won't be ready to start next season (by the sounds of things). It was his Achilles he did on a his debut, i've no idea if it's the same one but either way, i hope it doesn't have any long-term effects.

in the broadcast I heard it stated he wouldn't be playing again "this year"

real shame hope he recovers OK back to his standard form.

"Last Tuesday, for example, Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze was told he was on an expanded list — a wide pool of players who could be called up for England ahead of Euro 2020 — and advised of the dates he should keep free this summer and COVID-19 protocols. In a particularly cruel twist, Eze saw the message after the training session in which he suffered the serious achilles injury that could rule him out until the start of 2022."
