Had we played our strongest eleven for the duration we would have come away wiith a positive result. Norwich were good but not that good.
Question everything.

Flattering score line, MW to blame.
Can't agree. We give a good account of ourselves against comfortably the best team in the division when we have nothing left to play for. They deserve their win but take away Seny's uncharacteristic mistake, score the penalty (against an absolute pen expert let's not forget) and it's a different game.
Could easily have ended in a draw, if we didn't hand them two goals and missed a pen by "Goal machine". But they are top for a reason, and are the bar we should be aiming for. Of course it will be hard when you have one hand tied behind your back. That goes for the rest in the Championship as well, who don't have the Prem money and players. Have a horrible feeling the Budgies might do better than last time they were in the Prem as well :(

Agree. Defence still has too many "brain farts", and this needs to be tweaked if we are to be real challenger's. Signs are promising all told 8)

Which is why I'm glad we're not going up, we'd be mullered every week.
Full backs aren't good, age of the team needs lowering and much more pace needed.

We possibly would. But a few of our strongest eleven are not ours and it makes sense at this stage of the season to see what some of the others can do. Today was frustrating but I can see why MW took the approach he did.

As an aside I'm only 39 so perhaps don't have the same hatred for Norwich as some - as Damien alluded to I think I'm maybe less annoyed than those a few years older than me!

One of those days and unfortunately those days are usually made worse when you are playing the best team in the league.

For much of the game we gave a good account of ourselves but individual errors let us down.

Some positives such as Willock's good form and how good was Albert in the build up to our goal.

Elsewhere last game of the season Derby County v Sheffield Wednesday, one of them is going down, a shame Rotherham let us down.

We were a little unlucky really, Norwich took advantage of our errors very efficiently.

I dislike Norwich with a passion not just because of 1976 but the way this current team bend the rules. Not so noticeable today but their ridiculous screaming when tackled really annoys me and they tend to harangue the officials for the whole 90 mins. Good riddance to them.

Hope we get shot of Brentford as well.

I'd like to throw Paul Lambert in there too. Always particularly unnecessary during Faurlingate...

Austin aside, that pretty much was our strongest eleven, wasn’t it ?

Even then, we’ve barely missed him in the last three games, and it’s unlikely he’ll be here next season anyway. Personally I’d have been happy to see a more experimental line-up, given we had nothing to play for.
Are headphones getting bigger, or are idiots getting smaller ?

I think playing Thomas in a CM role was a mistake. Field should have started there and I think that would have been our strongest eleven.

I'm not worried about going up personally. But I would like to see us challenge the Top six. That for me would be an incredible achievement given the restrictions on the club. Barnsley have shown it can be done, and with a few Canny additions in the summer...there should be no reason why we can't improve on a season that has surpassed all my exceptions. Great to see "our striker" scoring regularly as well 8)
