How much can the club now be worth?

Post by Montag » Sun Mar 19, 2023 11:09 pm

Must be considerably less than what TF paid. Real Estate value of the ground plus the playing staff who are nearly all pretty negligible in terms of proper finance. I can't help thinking about Percy Throwers garden. Who did that again?

Your hatred of Les Ferdinand seems to be verging on the pathological. I’d seek help if I were you.

It's our club that needs help, don't ya know? Open your eyes for once. Would any other club employ him in such a role? It's not hatred. It's contempt.

I'm not a fly on the wall so I've no idea what goes on behind the walls . Just, I get the impression that our owners are just floating about in the background. If it was my club loosing all that money and have a squad in that state I would be turning into Godzilla.

QPR must be just a tax writeoff for them now.

As far as I’m aware the club is not for sale, so it doesn’t really matter.

Everything is for sale at the right price.

Mind you, the F1 Chaps did a rather nice job on coming in, mixing things up, winning promotion and then selling whilst the stock of the club was high.

And the buyer? TF has made a small fortune out of QPR! Trouble is, he started off with a big one (I'll get my coat........)

Crawley Town , near the bottom of div 2, were sold to American owners for £5million.

Ah yes, the WAGMI crypto bros. Their owners came in making big promises about taking them to the Premier League. That's going well, with the club on their fourth manager of the season, and Conference bound.

I have no doubt that were our current owners to decide to sell up, there would be plenty of interested parties. However, given how many extremely dodgy owners are already out there in the EFL, I would be very wary of the motives of potential buyers. Better the devil you know, and all that.

I won £3 on the Thunderball last night so I'm on the lookout for investment opportunities….

Not sure they will go down but all a bit odd with their ownership. Does seem a basket case at times.

I did see they broke their record home attendance on Saturday. So you never know what the future holds!
