Bonne sounds like he's more or less leaving.

More papers are talking about McNamara & Tyler Roberts.

Linked with Shane Long. I used to really rate him, but not so much at this age. He'd give us experience, but I'd have kept Charlie if we were going down that route.

He is 2 1/2 years older than Charlie.

They have both played over 300 games - Long has scored 119 times, Charlie has scored 176.

This makes absolutely no sense.

Hopefully, just paper BS.

...not over excited too by that rumor but the point, more than the age, is IMO....
Charlie could not run any longer whereas I have not seen Long and if he is still able to run and speed some times.....

Andre Gray has signed for Greek side Aris Thessaloniki, and apparently Moses Odubajo is likely to do the same.

It must be the lure of playing in the second qualifying round of the Europa Conference League. No way we could compete with that kind of glamour.

...well...good that he signed for the Greeks rather than Preston - as it was whispered days ago - cos he would have surely scored to us on both matches...

He has joined Reading.

Phew!

Phew!
Indeed. He'd have been a great signing ten years ago, probably a decent one five years ago, but not now.

Delighted to see that they've signed Jeff Hendrick as well. Can't imagine Long being worse but I live to be surprised.

Linked with Taylor Richards. 21yo CAM/CM for Brighton. He's in contract until 2024, so likely to be a loan to buy.

Offer rejected for Danny McNamara. 23yo RB from Millwall.

Looks like we're a long way off in our valuation for McNamara, so we'll have to make a significant increase to sign him.
Millwall want him to stay.

A cash plus Hamalainen deal would suit both parties.

Not sure it would suit them. Suits us.

Looking at the recent team selections and listening to Mick Beale's interviews it really hasn't taken him long to decide upon his starting eleven. I am not sure that is a good thing!

A few more players to come in and you would think that they would be going in to the starting eleven unless they are youngsters.

As always with our club, interesting times.
