....according to FLW about to be announced as Brum boss. It is possible that he may do a better job for them than Beale does for us. Unlikely with their squad but possible.

Yeah, it's on the Brum Offish.
Honestly, I don't trust the judgment of anyone willing to take the job.
Assistant manager isn't really a tangible position, so hard to know whether he actually had much of an impact on the team. Only time will tell which team took the best gamble.

That job certainly looks like a poisoned chalice, but I suppose there aren’t many other Championship clubs who would be willing to take on someone with very little management experience. Good luck to him, although I hope he can see his way to gifting us six points next season. Just for old times sake, and all that.
