I liked the look of Anis Mehmeti when he played against us for Wycombe. 20 years old and a bit of a raw talent. Barry Bannan would be a welcomed addition.
Bannan recently signed a 4 year contract with the Owls and you can bet your house it was for more than we want to pay for an older player.
It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.

From Teamtalk

QPR striker Lyndon Dykes has attracted interest from Fulham, West Brom and Burnley after scoring 12 goals this season.

If that's so then let it be pronto. :D
Dykes and Austen could be a formidable front two for us next season. Dykes works hard outside the box and as we know Charlie can be a lethal finisher. I really want both of them to be with us come August.
It's funny as I was only thinking this is one of the best front two's I can remember in recent memory.....

Really hope some deal can be struck...
2021/2022.... Keep Calm, no matter the season, we'll follow our team.....

QPR have completed the signing of teenage forward Alfie Lloyd from National League club Yeovil Town after a trial.

Lloyd, 18, has moved for an undisclosed fee and signed a three-year contract.

QPR are interested in Aston Villa and Wales defender Neil Taylor, The Sun claim.

Taylor is expected to leave Aston Villa this summer when his contract there ends.

The Sun say he is wanted by Rangers and Stoke as well as Turkish clubs Istanbul Basaksehir and Trabzonspor.

32 Year Old Left Back.

Yeah, not a surprise really. Chair, Dickie, Dieng could go next window. If they do, hopefully we've already lined up some decent players.

Are you sure. I accept we will have to sell at some point but that surely has to be with a plan in mind. Do you really think we can sell 3 players out of the first team and simply replace them. If it is a case of every season finding two or three rough diamonds then sell a year later this club is not going anywhere.

I mean, we sold Eze, BOS and Manning last season, Freeman, Luongo, Furlong the one before. It's not ideal, but the reality is selling is what we need to do to grow as a club. I'm not advocating for doing it every season, but when you have highly sought after players as a small club with no money, getting one or two of them out the door for the right price allows us to develop further.

Only have to look at Southampton - there is a balance to seeing- think they have taken this to the wire a bit and had a close shave with relegation last season. This season safe enough but probably lower than they would want to be.

Selling Chair is hardly going to encourage the likes of Austin and Johansen to sign up permanently, if that is the intention. Selling Dieng, Dickie and Chair would give a clear statement of us settling for a rebuild.

....well, the policy of selling the best players every year and then rebuild the squad is very risky....we saw that early this season....
if not for the loans that we got in January I don't really know where we would have finished....

According to the Belgian Media we are asking 15 million for Chair.

Perhaps in this transfer window we don’t have to sell as we still have some Eze money left.

Alex Pritchard is leaving Hull. Still a target for us perhaps?

I don't know for sure but I doubt we have much of the Eze money left. I suspect that was used to help keep the club afloat this season.
