Saturday 9th November 1968: QPR V Burnley in the First Division - I saw the Hoops for the first time and my obsession began!

Watched every day, compelling viewing. Sometimes these things come off, other times they don't, never seen anything like it in my life. Anyones game on the last day.

I was following it without being able to watch every ball. great comeback. when test cricket is like that. i.e. swing one way and then the other, the game is truly magnificent. some of the batting by England has been good.
