If it was anyone else who missed that sitter to go back to 1-1 he would have been crucified! Jeeze, if it was Barton, he would have been booed for the rest of the game!
If we had scored that goal, who knows what would have happened. Momentum would have really turned and may have put Swansea away. |

If it had been Barton the club would probably have been deducted points for fielding an ineligible player. _________________ It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope. |

If he had put his laces through it, as some have suggested, & it went over; then he would of been accussed of not placing it.
A combination of a bit of luck & a good save prevented that from going in.

He did everything right, it was just unlucky. To be fair, Vorm made similar saves like that last season too.
He's a top goalkeeper, 9 times out of 10 that would have gone in. Mackie is still one of the best finishers we have IMO. _________________ Isle Of Wight R'ssssssssss |

Disagree. It was a weak effort and Mackie should've done better. Hopefully he'll make up for it on Saturday. |

Yeah, let's ignore the bleedin' obvious.
It was Mackie's fault we lost 0-5 _________________ If you cannot bring good news then don't bring any. |

| For the record I'm not suggesting it was Mackie's fault we lost on Saturday. |

I do understand the point you're trying to make but to be fair Mackie has earned the occasional 'free pass' from the fans. _________________
