Can be found on @danroan twitter page. He is a presenter for sky sports (I think)

Some really interesting stuff that hasn't come to light before. The cross examination of terry is particularly interesting. The lawyer says that after Af had goaded him about wayne bridges girlfriend, JT had said "...and yours (in reference to AF's missus) you f... B... C...."

Also says JT only 'summoned' AF to his dressing room ONLY after he found out what was said was caught on camera.

Finally Ray Wilkins, Jose Mourinho and Ashley Cole have all defended him and said he 'wasn't racist'

BUT this isn't a trial to see if he is a certified racist or not, it is to see if he made racist remarks to AF. Which, to me, he most certainly did.

Verdict expected on Friday

It is the judgement of this court that he be taken from this place to a penal colony in Siberia where he will spend the rest of his natural life.

Ashley "pork pie" Cole said he heard what Anton said but didn't hear Terry say anything. Strange that in the pictures I've seen Cole is closer Terry than he is to Anton Embarassed

Yep. That is the essence of it.

Is it just me? We all KNOW this sort of crap goes on during matches to unsettle the opposition, with or without bringing race into it- the piece I have found most gut wrenching is hearing Cole tell Anton "you cant talk like that to JT". I wasnt sure there was room for Cole to fall any further in my estimation but the lad has excelled himself.

As I can make out so far there was childish and foolish behaviour from Terry AND Ferdinand. Silly name calling and offending each other is costing tax payers money en clogging up the judicial system that could be persecuting much more important cases.
Shake hands and move on.
If Terry was one of ours, we would be up in arms about how ridiculous this court case would be and how everyone is against us. A bit of double moral by some of our supporters.

I am not sure what you mean by "double standard" here.

AF alledgedly was giving JT some stick about his relationships and JT responded with a racial epithet. Not a double standard at all. Racism hurts more than just AF, it hurts the whole black community. Its like if you made fun of my shoes and I responded with "I'm gonna kill you" instead of making fun of your shirt. A criminal line was crossed. And in particular for someone who is looked up to by so many youth (sad as that is) it is particularly egregious.

On top of that JT was dishonest enough to sleep with his mates missus, get her pregnant, then fund her abortion. And this is the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Terry related shittiness. On the other hand, Antonio Ferdinand just happens to be black (mixed race?). Does that mean he is fair game? No.

You really couldn't make this stuff up! In life I try my hardest to see good in people, to always give people the benefit of the doubt. But this, wow. Holier than thou John Terry, god forbid someone talks to you like that. Jesus wept!

That 1-0 win gets sweeter every day.

I just don't think name calling should blown up into a full scale court case.
A lot of ginger or short people are bullied and made fun of all their life but if Terry had called a ginger player ''you f*&&ing ginger c%&t'', there is no way this would have been made into a court case and nobody would be up in arms for all the ginger people who receive a lot of grief and discrimination from childhood up onwards.

It's wrong to judge and condemn people for their race, sex, looks, thoughts etc. but it's also wrong to make one sort of discrimination more important than others. Either you take everyone to court for any kind of discrimination or you take no one to court for these matters and settle it in an other way.
You can't say ''oh, now it's a football player and it's about blacks, so lets grill him''. That is what I would call discrimination.

Ginger people and short people DO have recourse to the law for bullying. ALL bullying can and should be dealt with by the law. No-one should have to put up with others making their life a misery and it would help reduce suicides in young people.

Didn't AF once ask for some time off from Steve Bruce to visit a sick relative but was then photographed on a mate's stag do in Miami?

Swings/Roundabouts etc etc.

I think more than anything, this trial has proved beyond doubt that these two in particular both have a lot of growing up to do.

IT'S NOT TERRY V FERDINAND.
JOHN TERRY has been charged by the CPS with a criminal offence. When, where and why are incidental.
People accused of racism always try to blame their victims. (Check that one out) Anton Ferdinand's character has nothing to do with this trial. He didn't bring the charges.
