If anyone can tell you about Pryor on this board, youre looking at him...haha! I am a fan of Thee Ohio State University, born and bred.
You know, Pryor really wasnt ready to be drafted when he was. He needed one more year. But all things considered, he needed to go for the sake of our program (Ohio State, that is) and that is that.
He is an incredibly gifted athlete with serious speed. He will play in the NFL one day as a starting QB, but he needs to hone his skills. He is absolutely a diamond in the rough. If the Raiders are patient enough, and let him develop that is. We will see what happens now that AL is gone if they can get some consistency in the head coaching position.
As far as things on this side of the bay are concerned. It isnt as segregated as you might think. Plenty of Raiders fans over here (If I followed Pro ball, I might like the Raiders) and Niners fans in the East Bay. Both have strong working class followings. The Raiders are a bit of a question mark for this season as far as I can tell. |

Pats, Red Sox and OSU are the main teams I like to follow when able but I have a soft spot for the Broncos due to some family that live in Boulder.
Not sure I should have mentioned the Red Sox this season but Big Papi seems to have laid the spectre of an early season slump to rest this season. |
Do you follow it closely enough to have a take on Terrelle Pryor? |
Due to the non existent coverage of College Football over here I was only able to follow his Buckeyes career through the reports on ESPN. Not sure how the bribery scandal has affected him personally but it killed the Buckeyes. |
I keep forgetting that you are Buckeye nation (international...lol) EL.
No fear. Urban will show us the way back to our _ichigan beating ways soon enough. Everything I have read so far is like a breath of fresh air after 10 years of Tresselball. This offense is going to be exciting! |

Thanks for that 'r in frisco' I agree with you, regarding the chances this season for the Raiders, it could go anywhere. We have lost a couple of good starters because of the cap situation, and got in a few veterans on the cheap. McKenzie has done an unbelievably good job with the cards he was given. It's so up in tha air it could be anything from 5 to 10 wins. However there is a tremendous team spirit developing there, and that could go a long way to getting us towards the higher numbers in that estimate. If Mcfadden happened to have a 16 game season (not hopeful) then we could even exceed it, and him, in with an outside chance of MVP
As for Pryor, yes there was a lot of speculation that he may change position, or certainly used in different formations, to get his athletic abilities on the field, but to me that meant, as you have alluded to, he wasn't ready to play QB. However to be fair, right from the off, both the player and the coaches said he was a QB only.
Some of the RaiderNation want him in already, those who are not high on Palmer, however I believe you are correct and he is a project and the Raiders have to be patient. Unless Palmer is stellar for 4 seasons, I can see Pryer being the starter in a couple of years. He could very well be Al's legacy and maybe apology for Russell. But certainly Pryor was always only ever going to be a Raider with Al drafting him before he died and his amazing athletism. _________________ All or nothing!

How do feel about Tebow going, were you a fan? How well is Peyton Manning going to do and for how long? How fearful does our secondary need to be? _________________ All or nothing! |

Do you follow it closely enough to have an opinion on Norv Turner keeping his job? Why do you think you have under achieved for so long, with so much talent on your team? P.S I know thats rich coming from a Raider fan! _________________ All or nothing!

Are you still interested in the Falcons? You've got a seriously good QB now in Matt Ryan. Contenders this season? _________________ All or nothing! |

What is the latest on Terrell Suggs? Are you going all the way this season? How do the fans feel about Flacco? |
Suggs is hoping to be back by round 14. Hopefully in time for the playoffs. Losing johnson and Suggs is tough, but Paul Kruger is solid and a step up from Johnson in pass rush. Courtney upshaw is this years rookie to watch, Bama loved him.
I like Flacco, and dislike Cam Cameron. Offensively the Ravens are too predictable. Basic play calling cost us ultimately last season (that and Lee Evans). Jacoby Jones is a solid addition at 3WR, and I see Jimmy Smith having a break out year (He was carrying a hernia from game 4 on last year and still put up good numbers). |

| As for going all the way. It should have been last season. Very tough schedule this year given divisional winners last. Browns and Bengals have both improved via the draft and free-agency so, like every year, its going to be tough to win the division. Squeelers will put up their usual solid season. |

Isn't it now standard for Premier League players to have Vick on their shirt as well? |

Still follow the Falcons, they drafted a certain Neon Deion when I started following them.
Ryan looks to be getting better and better, and Julio Jones is going be a freaking monster!!javascript:emoticon(' ') |

I may even wear my Buckeye shirt to a game if they start heading up the Big 10 standings. When do the rankings come out? _________________ It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope. |

I've been watching it properly since the 2007 season and there's been times I've really wanted them to get rid of Norv but his offensive playcalling is very good so who else is there available?
When Rivera was Defensive Coordinator he improved the Defense alot and it was upsetting seeing him leave.
For me.. the reasons we haven't achieved what we can is because of mistakes on special teams and mentality.
Letting Sproles go was a big disappointment for me. _________________ I couldn't think of anything funny to say.. |
