A real mixed bag to be honest.
I have the most respect for the QPR fans who would like their club to dissociated themselves with Joey Barton.
I think that your club would be much more respected without him.
Don't think anybody would have reason to wish your club bad without him. He is no Robbie Savage, he isn't fun to hate, he is hated with a genuine passion by most football fans and players.
And I'm not sure where he would turn next. |
Oh we are intensely disliked by some. Luton for a start .
That's better, now I've wiped my eyes.
And there were even a few chel fans who reacted a bit to getting beaten at Loftus Road.
Mainly though, hatred/dislike comes because the club is based in one of the greatest cities the World has ever known. And, as quick-thinking, quick-talking, chirpy, cheeky, chatty, loveable Londoners, we are proud to be different (better) than the unlucky folk from the rest of the country and this innate superiority sometimes leads to accusations of arrogance (mainly from small-minded, bitter folk). So long may it continue |
Oh, wait.... you were being serious? |
Maybe a little, maybe a little more than a little. I'm sure you'll make your own mind up |

Please send a few hundred coaches to Norfolk, I'll happily help all the stranded Londoners get home! |

It's probably a cultural thing but Londoners (at least QPR Londoners) rarely bother with coaches. Londoners mostly travel by car (and sometimes by train). Non-Londoners travel by coach. Very often to London.
Have a look next season. I'd bet there are no more than three coaches carrying QPR fans at Carrow Road. Quite likely not even that many. And that'd be fairly normal even for games where we would take the maximum number of fans. For many/most, it's often easier to go direct to away grounds than make the effort to get to LR just to get on a coach.
Unlike some clubs. A season or three back I was heading for Wandsworh Bridge and got caught up with at least a dozen (possibly up to twenty) Everton coaches on their way to the current temporary home of the UEFA cup winners.
And then there's always the caravans of coaches on motorways that it's fun to pleasantly wave at on Saturdays
I suppose the only consolation with the Scouser transporters was in knowing the coaches were road-worthy and insured. And had matching tyres. [stereotyping emoticon] |

Expect Jay Rodriguez and Robert Snodgrass to sign for Villa this summer. Both good players.

Well, well, well.....

Told ya
Matt Phillips is a very good player, I'd be a little jealous about that one.
Snodgrass and Phillips would both have been achievable with his Norwich budget though.
He won't be getting Ayala.
He can have Holt. |
