I'd speculate waterbuffalo is some adolescent from Malaysia who discovered qpr on the telly in the last 6months following premier league coverage and the Tony connection. Probably just doesn't realise that we're not a tv-club, with most of our fans being connected somehow with the area and used to supporting the team by going to games.
This person is more likely used to the antics of his plastic man united/liverpool counterparts, and of course is used to messageboards that get flooded with all sorts of banal crap that you can find on the non-football "ooh isn't Twiglet amazing!" sites.
It's sort of nice to know we've got our own overseas armchair "fans", although I hope we don't have to interact with too many of them, unless they come over and actually watch a few games of course.
Am I even slightly correct, Mr W? _________________

Whilst we are on banality I am still awaiting the consensus on my question: Lettuce sandwiches, are they worth the effort? especially so if one is requested to remove the crusts _________________ It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope. |

Lettuce sandwiches are great. Just add some chicken, bacon, mayo and olives or a mixture of tuna and anchovies. If the latter, leave out the lettuce. _________________ I'm Ray Gardner. I drink Blackcurrant Tango. Come and get me! |

I was tempted, but I need to spend time a-diggin' and a-plantin'. My season starts early May - then in June they've got me travelling to Cheltenham, Stroud and Bristol. That's silly.
Tough game at the Oval for your boys. _________________ I'm Ray Gardner. I drink Blackcurrant Tango. Come and get me! |

I will be at the Oval this Friday. The bank holiday has fallen nicely and the weather doesn't look too bad (In fact, 12 degrees and sun is likely to see me rather burnt come 6pm). Judging by Surrey's warm up performances I'm expecting a bit of a one-sided affair. _________________ 'Live every week like it is shark week' |
