had never had those personal problems? Where would we be now?

Because at the moment we definitely need a manager like him. As long as Flavio Briatore is at the club there will be some form of interference with the managers job, and getting rid of GP won't make any difference. Maybe we will get Curbishley in the summer, but how long would it be before he got pissed off with the way things are done here?
We need someone who will actually work under the 'Director of Football' set up, who understands how to play to the strengths of the players, and who won't be undermined by the players. There must be someone out there who can do this, because since De Canio left we have tried and failed 4 times to find this person.

Ah yes, the man that used to defend from the 6 yard line for the last 30 minutes.

No thank you.

I think we would be safely in the play offs. In fact, I think the same can probably be said for Dowie, and maybe even Sousa. Call me nuts, but I reckon we would being doing pretty bloody well if we still had John Gregory!

We have good players, sadly due to the constant changes they have never found any long term rhythm. With this squad, a half decent (longterm) manager would have us in the playoffs. All they need is consistency, rather than the constant up-heavel. Today is yet ANOTHER day where they have turned up for training and been told that the management set up has been changed once again.

As Delaney said not too long ago: Managers have favourite players, preferred tactics, their own way of training etc.

i don't think he'd have lasted the full season to be honest. A shame as he is a very good coach and happy to work the way QPR want to but I think eventually the interference would have got too much for him and he'd have walked away or been sacked

Playing entertaining football and winning matches and you assume there would have been interference?

So, from where you stand, there's no point even considering any Football aspects until the owners have gone?

I don't I assume I know there was plenty of interference. when he was in charge, he was forced to change his system for a start and told he had to play 4-4-2 which is where the buzsaky out wide thing started.

Until the owners, well flavio really stops sticking his nose in and wanting to play manager and pick tactics and the team we'll go nowhere. He's done it with so many now it's beyond a joke
