For me there are two ways to go,Harford can be allowed to organise the team how he sees fit but with instruction to use as many of the younger players we have as often as is sensibly possible and we get to see if any have the potential to step up next season.

However I would rather the board allowed him to sign two full backs and a striker and maybe a cental defender, then see if we can put a sustained run together to the end of the season.I think we are not far from being a side that could make the play offs and as this is a poor league things can turn very quickly (as we have seen for ourselves). It all depends very much what the board really want to achieve, because if we made the play offs and then achieved the dreaded 'P' word then fortunes would need spending if we wanted to stay up.

Most likely outcome however is Harford will be given a few Gianni specials (players no one else wants but we give long contracts to) and then when we finish a sad 16th he will be shown the door to make way for Glen Hoddle,Bryan Robson and Eileen Drewery as the new Messiahs.

I assume currently he is on the same 6 month contract as Hart was, in which case, he will not be signing any players.

I guess in a way, we season ticket holders are on a contract until the end of the season as well.
