Seny Dieng
Rob Dickie will get most of the plaudits after his superlative display last night, rightfully so. But I really believe our next post-Eze 8 figure sale to keep us going financially for a couple of seasons will be Seny Dieng. He’s got everything - and he’s at a perfect age where he will only get better. Let’s hope we get a couple of seasons out of him before he heads off for £10m+

Re: Seny Dieng
He certainly does look natural and not like an accident waiting to happen, like the our last custodian. However, its still very early days and he hasn't exactly been under fire as yet.
Come on you Sooopa ........

Re: Seny Dieng
I've been impressed with him so far. Certainly commands his area well, which helps to give the back four confidence, and his distribution is good. He'll make mistakes at some point though, and it's how he responds when that happens that will be key. It's probably better for goalkeepers without the crowd, as they won't have to deal with audible intakes of breath or sarcastic applause after they do make an error or two.
Are headphones getting bigger, or are idiots getting smaller ?

Re: Seny Dieng
His ground level finger tip save of Rooney's attempt last night showed excellent shot stopping ability. But it's his handling of high balls and crosses that's most impressive. Together with Dickie, he's improved our defence no end. Cut out the penalties and we'll be laughing.

His handling is very good. He's never looked like he would fumble a cross it's as if he has glue on his gloves. Of course having said that.......dm wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 12:17 pmHis ground level finger tip save of Rooney's attempt last night showed excellent shot stopping ability. Re: Seny Dieng
That was such an important save. Really impressed with him and no coincidence that we're starting to defend well with him and Dickie in the side.dm wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 12:17 pmHis ground level finger tip save of Rooney's attempt last night showed excellent shot stopping ability.
