Re: Transfer Rumours
Appears Palace got a decent deal on Eze as Villa are about to shell out £28m on Watkins. Includes add on's etc but still that's a lot of cash.
That's tidy profit after they bought Toney for £6m.

Toney does look a very good player too and I wouldn't be surprised if he was flogged for over £20mil
if he has a good season.
Certainly the kind of player we'd like t sign soon.

Where did that come from. It suggests there is a release clause in his current contract.

Possibly just reflective of the fact that QPR had accepted a sub £5m offer from Bruges earlier in the summer?QPR_John wrote: ↑Wed Sep 09, 2020 9:32 am"given that he can depart for less than £5million this summer."n22hoop wrote: ↑Wed Sep 09, 2020 9:28 amApparently BOS waiting on a bid from Palace

Re: Transfer Rumours
Both Celtic and Rangers are said to be interested in BOS now although they appear to be hoping they can get him on the cheap come the winter transfer window.

Re: Transfer Rumours
If he stays, I'd like to think the price will go up. Having said that, he doesn't look like he wants to be here, so I doubt we'll see the best of him between now and January.
Having said that, I don't actually expect him to still be with us come the end of this transfer window.
We have seen this all before.

Re: Transfer Rumours
It's clear BOS wants away so the best thing that can happen now is Palace, or whoever, bid around £5m asap and we do the business quickly. We don't want to end up with BOS or anyone else damaging dressing room morale.ZENITH R wrote: ↑Wed Sep 09, 2020 12:43 pmIf he stays, I'd like to think the price will go up. The quicker BOS is out the building, the better. Absolute chalk and cheese compared to Eze.

Re: Transfer Rumours
If BOS wants away and lets it be known why should any club bid £5M for him when they only need to wait a year to get him free. Maybe even less if Rangers are desperate to get rid.SM wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 7:00 amAgree 100% dm.dm wrote: ↑Wed Sep 09, 2020 3:11 pmIt's clear BOS wants away so the best thing that can happen now is Palace, or whoever, bid around £5m asap and we do the business quickly. Don't you just love these modern day 'professional' football players and their 'stand up' agents?!

Question everything.

Gubbins going out on loan. Hopefully that means we'll be bringing in another CB as cover.

Re: Transfer Rumours
Sensible move to send out Gubbins on loan. Not sure we'll bring in another CB though. We have Barbet, Dickie and Masterson, and Cameron or Wallace could drop in there at a push. Hopefully we're still looking to bring in at least one, preferably two strikers. That's assuming BOS moves on.deadendjob wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 9:23 pmGubbins going out on loan. Re: Transfer Rumours
Kakay has signed a new deal until 2024.
Good news. I've enjoyed watching his progress into the first team. Goes to show that going out on loan is all part of journey of the modern footballer.
