Fourth round

Post by 222gers » Sun Jan 06, 2019 6:13 pm

What sort of opponents would we like ? A glamour tie or an easier game to enhance our chances of progressing further ? An away game to say, the Arsenal, would help the balance sheet.
Me, I'd like a home tie against one of the London clubs left in it. Loftus Road would be rocking !

Newport away would be best avoided. West Ham away would do me. New ground to visit and some money in the bank for the club.

Good shout on West Ham away. Wouldn't want to play any of the top teams away and risk a shellacking though, but any of them at home would be great.

Away at Millwall or Middlesbrough would be disappointing.

Could even win, that's the positive spin and the beauty of the FA Cup. whistle

I'd like any of:

Barnet home or away (my brother-in-law supports them)
WHAM away (new stadium to visit)
Spuds Away (Wemberleeee)
Everton home (my daughter's in-laws are Everton fans)
Saturday 9th November 1968: QPR V Burnley in the First Division - I saw the Hoops for the first time and my obsession began!

Why's that? 'cos they beat Leicester?
Nah, that draw would be ok. Just a typical FA cup result, wouldn't happen again. Leicester had a decent team out as well to be fair.

At what point can we declare we are on a cup run?
