It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.

Frankly immoral.

Totally agree....would be nice to win the champs but not go up. Championship is a far more level playing field imo.

Many were happy with the idea of us being "Citeh" when Tango, Cash and the Mitels wandered through the door in 2007....

Tango and Cash were real business men, one of the few to make money out of investing in a football club....

The rest of the tale? meh...
2018/2019.... Keep Calm, no matter the season, we'll follow our team.....

Is that some kind of perverse endorsement?
At best they were rapacious to$$ers, at worse you can use any rancid adjective that comes to mind!

Yep.... Got us ro the promised land....

And before we start with the good owners / bad owners BS....

I'm old enough to remember when St.Jim Gregory was willing to sell the clubs soul and merge us with Fulham...

Wembley and a new badge (and a shed load of money wasted) is the legacy so far from the bunch who took over...

Fulham Park Rangers was one of the names thrown about. Wish I could erase that period from my Brain.

West London Flyovers was another....

Was a very dark period, if memory serves me right....

The plan was FPR and Chelsea share Loftus Road and the other two grounds were going to have luxury homes built on them...

Thankfully the FA and the London Council at the time told them to get fcuked... still ripped off Fulham of their two best players (Dean Coney and a certain Paul Parker) for half a million...

Surprisingly we had a brilliant start to the following season and were top of the old first division until October?...

I remember that season start well. I remarked to my brothers at one game that I couldn't see how anyone would ever score against us with Fenwick playing sweeper behind the back four, basketball style, then John Barnes exposed the flaws during a heavy defeat against Liverpool LOL

Yep was at the game at Anfield when they thumped us 4 - 0 and knocked us off top spot by goal difference....

Unusually our chairman Bulstrode was in the team photo that season.....

Only other one I ever saw do that was St. Jim Gregory in a 60s team photo...

Thank heavens Uncle Tony never thought of it....
