It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.

Crazy his best days way behind him although still a class act.
But I would imagine world wide in shirt sales it will take Juventus all of 5 mins to make that back.

Very true. I read that their value on the stock market increased 20% after he signed.westlondonlalala wrote: ↑Tue Jul 10, 2018 7:52 pmCrazy his best days way behind him although still a class act.

A complete myth. A sizeable percentage of the profit made on the sale of Ronaldo Juventus shirts will go to Ronaldo. The majority of Ronaldo Juventus shirts sold in the eastern part of the world will be knock off.westlondonlalala wrote: ↑Tue Jul 10, 2018 7:52 pmBut I would imagine world wide in shirt sales it will take Juventus all of 5 mins to make that back.
You have to think that there will be something more to this deal with cash heading off in many directions.

Some interesting figures came out around social media and Ronaldo's move to Juve.
As well as Juventus' stock price going up 20% with the signing of Ronaldo, he has also notably boosted Juve's social media platforms: Instagram: + 1.4m, Twitter: + 1.1m and Facebook: + 500k. Meanwhile, Real Madrid lost 1,000,000 followers in 24 hours when it was announced Cristiano Ronaldo had left.

The club may benefit from more people turning up, purchasing products etc because of the added exposure.QPR_John wrote: ↑Sat Jul 14, 2018 3:25 pmSays more about people on social media than anything elsedeadendjob wrote: ↑Fri Jul 13, 2018 8:02 pmSome interesting figures came out around social media and Ronaldo's move to Juve.

Also with this particular deal, Fiat - one of their primary sponsors - is paying 60% of his fee iirc.

...well I don't know if the figure is real and accurate but I read on a web site that they already sold 520.000 shirts with his name...
each at € 100....thus already getting € 52.000.000 in few days....and merchandising is booming
