Interview with Grant Hall

Post by trevsinclair85 » Tue Jun 12, 2018 9:15 pm

I have been asked to share this with the forum. A friend of mine, Maz, is trying to start up his own channel on YouTube, and will be conducting interviews with various different sport stars over the next few months,

He is very close friends with Grant Hall, and you can watch his 'Maz Meets...' interview with Grant via the link, if you are interested.

He discusses his career so far, signing for the R's and his tendonitis injury, amongst other things.

Content was great - Maz asked some good questions, but the basics of production need some work.
I.e not standing in a room with with heavy reverb, camera zooming in held steady - on a stand/tripod, slowing his speech at times (seems to get a bit excited).

Thanks for posting. I don't have time to watch it now so can someone tell me what he says about his recovery from tendonitis and playing next season?

As far as I recall from the video, he thought that the tendonitis problem was a serious one. He tried to avoid having an operation, but had to, eventually. He illustrated the seriousness of it with reference to the ending of the career of Owen Hargreaves. He is obviously still ambitious, but, did not say much about playing next season, other than that he is looking forward to working with Steve McClaren.
It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

Big shame for Hall if he never gets back, such a promising player.

Thanks for the feedback, I am sure he will appreciate it. I have sent him the link to this post so he will most likely see it.
