A shame about the Villa consolation but it doesn't spoil a wonderful night.

Really well done Ollie and the boys. It sounds like the tactically inept Ollie did a job on a Villa.

The best away performance for a very long time. We made Villa, the form team at the moment, look poor. Very proud of QPR tonight.

Excellent result. Well done Rangers. Really happy for Ryan Manning. He's waited for his chance.

I guess Villa felt it would be another easy 3 points. The 3 they got at Loftus Rd were gifted to them.

AND Mourinho got knocked out of the Champions league! Good night all round.

BBC website says Villa humbled by midtable QPR. Not so long ago it would have been humbled by “ relegation threatened QPR “ !

I don't like Cardiff one little bit, but it looks like Mr Warnock has got them promotion and I'm delighted for him.

That aghast look of horror on the ugly mug of JT (shortly to eat mud) warms every cockle of my Schadenfreude-sprinkled heart! Eclipsed only by my vicarious delight in Private Manning's unbridled joy in his goal (though it's a close-run thing). :D

Pleased for Ryan Manning as his last first team run out ended with the red card - some nice shape to the squad developing - striking positions may need looking at but some seemingly decent options coming together amongst our current crop.

Saturday will still be a tough fixture.

It would be nice to hit 12th spot and be truely midtable. I predicted 10th-12th at the start of the season but that looked a dream no more than a month ago. A good finish will set us up nicely for next season.

Didn't Furlong cross for one of the goals tonight?
